A HUGE thanks to all who joined us for a week of celebration that helped raise $75,000 for Community Services League and the amazing work they do to serve the less fortunate throughout Jackson County …
The 2012 Ooh! featured great events including:
-Dine out for Hunger : CSL and Zarda BBQ teamed up in support of the seven (7) area Emergency Food Pantries at Community Services League. CSL’s pantries supplied more than 700,000 meals in 2011 and this year they will do at least that amount! All you have to do is eat and drink – Your local restaurant will provide a portion of the proceeds to CSL!
Hundreds of guests joined us on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Zarda BBQ, as 99.7 The Point host Kelly Urich broadcasted live! Zarda BBQ donated 15% of guests’ lunchtime tab to CSL!
- 2012 Ooh! Food, Drink & Music Extravaganza (Friday, May 4, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.): This wass the Granddaddy of them all! Over 40 food and drink vendors provided mouth-watering options while musicians and performers delighted the ears and eyes! Close to 600 people gathered together to support a 95-year-old cause to make Jackson County a better place!
At the event, guests will had the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind items in a fantastic silent auction that featured over 100 packages! Items included jewelry (diamond earrings, pearls, etc.), spa and beauty packages, golf passes and lessons, priceless sports memorabilia, artwork, sports tickets, wine tastings, food and drink certificates, and much more!
